Story
When Fitzwilliam Darcy makes an impetuous offer of marriage to Miss Elizabeth Bennet, he is convinced they have as good a chance as any for a harmonious life together. That is, until an overheard conversation changes everything, and Darcy realizes he is now joined in perpetuity to a woman who loathes the very sight of him. Elizabeth Bennet's expectations for matrimonial accord were never very high, having accepted Mr. Darcy's proposal in a fit of pique, not love. Still, she is determined to make the best of her situation. But life at Pemberley is not at all what she imagined.

Story
Fitzwilliam Darcy has had enough—enough of the ton and their speculations, enough of matchmaking mamas and their eager daughters, and enough of his family’s expectations that he will eventually marry his cousin Anne. Craving solitude and peace after discovering his sister with George Wickham in Ramsgate, he accepts an invitation to visit Netherfield Park from his friend Charles Bingley and travels to Hertfordshire, where he hopes Georgiana will recover from her disappointment in relative privacy.

Story
For Elizabeth Bennet, Charlotte is the friend who is—annoyingly—always right. Colonel Fitzwilliam is the mischievous brother she never had. And if their convictions that Mr. Darcy is in love with her are correct, he could be the lover she’s always wanted. There’s only one problem—he tried to ruin her favorite sister’s life, and she made an absolute fool of herself in front of him. Can lasting happiness come out of such a beginning? And can a man die from chasing a woman too quick to be caught? Darcy is about to find out.

When she accepts the one Mr. Darcy offers, she finds herself in his near-constant company and gets to know him at his best. Another great story
A very enjoyable, low angst book from one of my favourite writers. Darcy was fortunately interrupted in his proposal before he managed to say too much. And Elizabeth learned the truth about Wickham early enough to start changing her opinion. I loved their interactions, she considering his feelings and learning about different facets of his character. He willfully blind to the reasons why he loved her and not understanding what made her unique and the reasons for her disappointment. His behaviour was sometimes infuriating, in some moments amusing. I loved the colonel trying to get the truth through Darcy's thick skull. Luckily he was able to have a epiphany and throw away his first circles arrogance and pride.
I enjoyed Ann's story and I suspected what the ending would be. Lady Catherine was her usual obnoxious self, but she had a lesson to learn as well.
Stevie Zimmerman 's narration was perfect as usual. Her Elizabeth always sounds the way I would imagine her and Darcy's voice is so masculine. I love Darcy and Lizzy's romantic scenes, his voice sounds so gentle and caressing.
Highly recommended.

A Few Interesting Changes
This story, as you know from the summary, starts in the middle of the proposal, which does not go well, but not as badly as you may remember. There are a couple of other changes to the fate of some key characters but, with the brief exception of Lady Catherine being much more involved with Lizzy, and a surprise from Lady Ann, the changes only serve to give us a little more time to know the cast.
Stevie Zimmerman is, once again, perfect! She is one of my favorites to perform JAFF. She has a wonderful voice for Lizzy, yet can still make Darcy sound very masculine.

Lack luster
This variation lacks the transformative events that mark most p&p stories. Darcy does not rescue Lydia or Elizabeth. There is no cat fight with Elizabeth and Lady Catherine. Elizabeth does not even put Caroline in her place. The characters develop through these scenes. They discover their own pride, prejudice and backbone. In essence, all the best elements are missing.

Messy
Story line is messy, I think the author wanted to tell and change too many things. It distracts from the true love story that should be the centre of this tale.
Stevie zimmerman is great a always but her skills couldn't make it interesting. I believe that even she was bored.
