The best book I have read in a very long time

Masterfully and beautifully written, with fun engaging characters and a story that kept me riveted until the very end

What an ending

Gripping and atmospheric read that I thoroughly enjoyed. The vampires were compelling and dangerous, the mystery kept me turning pages, and the story steadily built toward a jaw-dropping ending that completely caught me off guard.

What stood out most to me was the emotional core of the book—the idea that family isn’t always about blood, but about trauma, loyalty, and the bonds formed through shared survival. The relationships felt raw, earned, and deeply connected, adding real weight to the danger and intrigue.

Dark, stylish, and emotionally rich, this was an easy 4-star read for me. That shocking final twist left me more than ready—and very eager—for the second book. 🖤📖

Captivating

Perfect voice acting and a wonderful story. It starts a little slow but ultimately so worth the read. Very disappointed in myself for missing the twist but incredibly excited to see where this goes. I usually stick to smut but something about the art and the book jacket blurb sucked me in. I want to hate the author now that I’ve finished it but we’ll see when the next book comes out.
