The surnames in this story come from a list of 11 endangered last names, more common in past centuries, which are now considered to have fewer than 20 contemporary bearers possessing them.

Mystery and Symbolism
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and listened intently as the mystery and romance unfolded into the dramatic conclusion. Light is a favorite subject of mine and the point of view of the 3 cities added so much!
