Loved It

This series gets better with each new addition. I love that Raibert finally found his true love. This story has so many good things going on. You get a wonderful romance, Raibert being Raibert, and a really good villain. Not to mention a few surprises along the way. I loved everything about this book!.

Another great Warlock’s MacGregor story.

It was great to hear Raibeart MacGregor’s story. I never saw this coming. I was pleased to know Katherine get’s a happy ending as well with her Raibeart and her sons!

Must Read & Amazing Series!!

OMG!! Raibeart's story was sooo much more than I could have imagined and just perfect!! A full rollercoaster of emotions throughout, I absolutely loved it and could not put it down. Raibeart is definitely my favorite warlock in this crazy clan and I am thrilled to finally get to read his story!
The audio narration is amazing (as always) and fits with the story perfectly!!

The odd wizard and the jealous witch

I love how the main hero has his own way of doing things. Also how she stands up for him.

Plus their is an amazing Umberbridge type death (if anyone else is a Harry fan you will totally agree).

Raibert and Katherine

Another great audiobook addition to the McGregor series. Uncle Raibeart saw things more clearly than his family in other Albion’s. But he drinks his whiskey, pulls pranks, asks every woman to marry him, loves and spoils children and loves to run naked every night. Now we understand the reason why Raibeart acts the way he does. He is being cursed by the thrall that stole his magic. He was cursed to forget the human he loved.
Katherine has been tormented for centuries. She doesn’t know why. She is a human that watched her family live and die through an enchanted mirror. But the crack in her prison is her escape. She is finding her family that she forgot. She finds the man she loved. But the torment is about to begin again.
Great story with intrigue, mystery, suffering, supernaturals, family loyalty, love, and McGregor family pranks. I always eagerly await each new audiobook addition to this series.

Oh my goodness, I love all of the MacGregors. Green Vallis Wisconsin has not been the same since the MacGregor family arrived. This series is amazing and I recommend them all.

A Streak of Lightning

I enjoyed this story. Raibeart and Katherine are the two main characters. I got kick out of the interplay between Raibeart, his family (the Macgregor's) and Katherine. They are quite a cast of characters. This story is told like folklore with Alice being the villain keeping Raibeart and Katherine apart and draining Raibeart of his magic to sustain herself. Can Raibeart and Katherine find a way to overcome Alice's power over them so they can finally be together. Guess you will have to get the story to see if they get their HEA.

He does a great job with the intonation of the voices to keep the story interesting and make it easy for the listener to get an accurate idea of what each character is thinking or feeling. It helps to set the mood and is a comfortable way to “read” and enjoy the book.
