Despite the book’s eerie content, the narrator’s voice makes the stories feel cozy. I loved the historical take on ghost stories as the author compares and contrasts the different experiences locals have in the same homes and businesses over time. It is definitely worth a listen, especially if you like local lore.

Interesting, well researched and, then, validated by author/narrator’s personal experiences. Although the area sounds like it would be uncomfortable to experience at the same time these stories make it sound like an intriguing place to visit,
