Once I did it, everyone asked, "how the hell did you do it?" And many times, I asked myself the same question….

In A Soldier Against All Odds, I show that It is possible, through determination, careful application, and bold strategy, to overcome or compensate for personal humiliation brought about primarily by my own mistakes, being haunted by investigations, academic difficulty, arrests, many ass-chewings, and physical frailty. I did pay the price for being me. This is how I did it, but most importantly, how I survived it.

The chronicle of life will inspire you to wince, cry, and laugh. I hope that the lessons I learned through the course of my life and my military career will be an inspiration to anyone confronting the future from a place of disadvantage.

Absolutely Superb!

A story of self hate and the struggles so many people deal with in this world. I highly recommend it as junior and high school required reading that leads to a composition essay assignment.

Definitely a classic.

I hope that the lessons I learned through the story(A Soldier Against All Odds) military career is an an inspiration for me confronting the future from a place of disadvantage.Great story and superb acting. Definitely a classic.

Great book, soldier overcoming uncertain times

An eye opening memoir that was an unexpected adventure and chaos. Humbling life lessons with very deep and revealing twists, with an inside perspective military life.

This is an excellent story that shows what true courage is and brings the audience to understand what it's truly like to be under fire and fighting not only for your life but also for the one next to you.

Based on true story and heartbreaking

There is not enough stars to rate this audiobook and the story it tells.100% perfection by all involved in telling By Jason Pike the story of a soldiers against all odds he face during his career in army. We should never forget what our soldiers have sacrificed in that war and all since. Based on true story and heartbreaking.

Well written audiobook.

All in all, a great audiobook - and made even better by having read the book before hand, and having a personal recommendation as to it's generally accurate portrayal of a time and place from someone who was far closer than I.

I love this book it shows how much a person is hurt by their past and they hurt others and others don't understand why people dislike them because they are from another part of the US Army, A story of self-hate and the struggles so many people deal with in this world. I really appreciate author Jason Pike great inspiring and struggling story, I love this audiobook and recommended it to my fellow read it must.
