The story took forever to get anywhere

The premise of the book was ok but the writing was juvenile and the book took forever to get somewhere

I Luv this book!

Surprisingly well-thought out. I’m a detail girl. So it wasn’t until towards the last third of this book that I realized without going dark the author covered and resolved all the main character’s issues. It was brilliantly done and brought out all the feels and tears! Also at the beginning when I said surprisingly well-thought out, it wasn’t to shade, but to give accolades for connecting all the dots in a clean way.

Meh

The plot of this book had potential, but man it swung hard into Tyler Perry/Hallmark movie territory. Not at all what I thought it would be.

Excellent narrators

I enjoyed this story of family, following the ups and downs of life. An excellent portrayal of working through tough times instead of just cutting each other off. Forgiveness and understanding is a lesson we all need to learn.

This was crazy

This book was really good and had me locked in from beginning to end!
