Once upon a time, there lived a sarcastic young man named Kellan Thorne. He met a mentor, was greeted by archangels, became a Sentinel of Creation, and married the love of his life, Shannon McLeod.

Kellan and Shannon had many grand adventures, and together with their friends, once even saved the world entire.

If you ask them, though, they will both say their greatest adventure rests with family.

Within this book you'll be given a glimpse into the most magical night. A night where angels gather, and a young boy, the first scion of amber light, receives the greatest of gifts...A Sister for Christmas.

Author's Note: This short story is the second in my annual series of Christmas stories created for Patrons. I hope it brings as much joy to you as it has for them.

I am so glad Robert has continued to drop these yule tide treats. I've listened to his other two, but this one may be my favorite. While it's not necessary to have read all his previous books, having done so, I can definitely say it adds another layer of fun. That said, I also think it would be a lot of fun to listen to this story and then find out more about each character in his primary novels.

Basically, you can't go wrong with this little gem. I especially like the winks and nods to Ariel's temperament. For those of us who have listened to Ariel's full length first-person novel, "An Enforcer of Havilah," we already know she's going to be quite a handful.

It's also incredibly sweet to see how young William Thorne loves and protects his baby sister even before she's born. So, if you want some Christmas cheer with both laughs and some heartfelt "Awwww..." moments, look no farther than this story.

Ho Ho Ho! What A Christmas Story.
