Catching story

This left me want to know what happened next. Disappointed it ended so quickly.

Captivating

I was hooked from the first page. There are two voices that go back and forth. While I'm not a fan of this technique, Hendricks makes it work beautifully. A 39 page short story that moved quickly and smoothly.

Good short listen

An entertaining story and short listen for when you want to finish a story same day. I wished it was just a bit longer since the plot was pretty rushed and I’d be interested in knowing what happens next.

A Show of Faith

This was a well written piece & the reader was excellent. Just was shocked that it ended so abruptly.

Too short

Very intriguing and then…..well, sort of creepy, but it needed more. Too short. The narration was good.

Confusing ending

I lived the narrator and story, but when it ended I did not know what had happened. “I don’t get it,” my friend said, after listening with me. “Me neither!” I agreed. Nevertheless, I love this author in novel length books.

The love the mother had for her daughter Faith.

I disliked that Mara really set up Blair to think she was really someone she wasn’t.

interesting story

it was definitely an interesting story. I have read pretty much everything by this author and her coauthor. I enjoyed the story but I didn't realize it was a short story when I used a credit to purchase it which made me mad but was my own fault. the performance was amazing and the story was great yet heartbreaking. it did leave me wanting more information about what's to come for Blair and Mara. I think this would have been a great book with a longer conclusion.

I really enjoyed this read. I loved the two main characters and was enjoying the story until the unexpected ending. Now I’m stuck wondering what happened next🤔
I hope there’s a part two…
