Loved the different personalities

The book was primarily discussion of relationships and less of the action and the drama that previous books had. At times I felt like I had to push myself to keep listening. The presentation and the person reading the story did an excellent job with all the characters.

The writer's voice is very strong in this book.

That the narrator kept pronouncing Doyle, as Dole. There's a Y in it! It not pronounced Dohle, It's said, Doi-le, Doyle. the Y is not silent.

Enjoyed it!

I love the MG series. Certain things i could have lived without. But over all a good series. I actually would love a prequel, the story of And journey of Queen Andais and how she became so twisted. And maybe a view into her bond with Essus.

Stella Hunter is great, the story is fabulous 👌, can't wait for the new story

Long Awaited

I am over joyed that this book was released. The saga continues with more thorns and roses. The plot truly thickens.

Same ol ish

I’m just mad that I allowed myself to get sucked back in.

If the story were mostly political intrigue between the courts, or a magical who-dunnit I might forgive myself, but instead I’m reading the same ol drivel. I don’t know who told LKH that hammering out any possibility of subtext is a great way to make pages, but I hate them for it.

the action was missing. it was all talk. nothing like her other books in the series. very disappointing 😞
