Pure Entertainment!

Truly a fan of Beverly Jenkins and this series. I read the first book and this one complimented the first. the story lines were relatable and kept my attention. I would love to see Tyler Perry make these into a miniseries!

LESSONS LEARNED

I LOVED THIS BOOK. Didn't know of the author, Beverly Jenkins, but will from now on!. This is a story to be told over and over. When I listen or read the other ones, they probably could be a new series or movies if they are as wonderful as this one was. Enjoy your reads.

Good

This was a good story but not my favorite from Beverly Jenkins. I am now used to the 1800 romance. Although the various story lines were good it was slow to start.

This book could not seem to keep my interest.
The narrator was great. I listened to this on Audible.
