The twists and turns keeps the reader mesmerized! Love these vibrant characters. Author has outdone herself.

Yelled at my phone when the book ended

I didn’t realize this wasn’t just the 4th book in the Nix series, it is also the start of a new trilogy. I enjoyed this as much as Shannon’s other books. Fun heroine and really interesting world. I desperately need the next book.

Characters

I love it! However, I think the narrator got Easter and Dina's voice mixed up compared to the other 3 books

OMG gimme more, gimme more! ASAP

Nix is my absolute badass heroine! Her story sucked me right in from page one of the first book. With that being said, this one did more than that, as it catapulted me back into the feelings I had during the first installment, but with a vengeance!! Oooooh, all those goosebumps were back, the foretelling of future battles, I can hardly wait! The narration was as always outstanding and the ending? I think both author and narrator had way too much fun with the last paragraph.
When is the next one finally going to be in my hands? What do you mean 2021? We still have about five years of 2020 left!! Ok, then, I will wait and re-listen to the entire series, several times over until then.... Well played Shannon!!

It doesn't start where it left off in the last book, but does quickly explains what happened and what's going on. I love the nix series and I will listen and read whatever you send out

I love the continuation of the story with the nonstop action. Kristine Hvam is outstanding as a narrator. Keep them coming.

A complete enjoyment

I absolutely love the series, though not sure if the next book is out yet since the forth book is linked with the other three on audible.

Anyways I enjoyed every minute of the series and can't wait for more

Just keeps getting better

Nix is once more on the run and looking for her son. Shannon Mayer has imagined an entertaining and intriguing story. All new bad guys, a number of surprises, beautifully written, and only leaves you wanting more. One of the best of the year.
