Fantastic.

Cathy is an excellent heroine, tough, resourceful and determined to get back to her own time. She realises early on that her only connection to the future lies with Fraser and the ring he has taken from her. The story follows her quest to try and take possession of the ring again and hope that it will take her back home to her family. When she finally gets the opportunity will she really want to leave the man she has become so close to?

Romantic Love.

I love an easy romance and this one was thoroughly enjoyable. The pair are thrown together by time and forced to work out their differences, after which both find they have an deep bond that develops into romantic love.

Good Story

An easy listen, set after the battle of Culloden in 1745 the story takes place in the aftermath when Bonny Prince Charlie is on the run and his army is scattered. Cathy ends up in the middle of this and has to persuade her rescuer that she is not mad and is really from the future. Lovely romantic ending.

Time Travel Romance

A take on the outlander stories, but with a twist or two that make it interesting. The story revolves around a ring that has been lost to original owner and is trying to resolve unfinished business in the past and Cathy ends up as it's unwilling victim when she puts it on.

A Lovely Clean Romance

It was nice to find a clean romance, so many of the scottish highlander romances border on erotica and are not to my taste at all. This was delightful and easy to listen to.

Loved the story

I was pleasantly surprised that the narrator was scottish unlike some books I have listened to where I actually laughed when the accent sounded more Irish.

A Breathtaking Highland Romance

The background to the story was brilliantly researched, and the setting beautifully described. Fraser is a true Highlander, loyal to Bonnie Prince Charlie and caught up in the aftermath of the final battle at Culloden when he meets the mysterious Cathy. There are a few twists that I won't refer to "spoilers!" - but the way they are drawn together across time is nicely done. Thoroughly enjoyable Scottish Highland Romance.
