good book!

I liked the story line as well as the narrator. First book by this author- I'llbecheckingout more..

Could have been better

I didn't care for this story as much as I have other Bae books. I think the female narrator tried to hard on the male voices. I think the story itself was finely written.

This one gave me the shivers!

Detective Cynthia Jones has loved and lost, tragically. When Officer Al Sanchez was assigned to her protection unit, Cynthia tried to not get close to him. But, there was just something about Al. This story is short, complex, filled with mystery and a dash of the paranormal. It made me laugh, it stunned me, it made me listen a second time, and then it brought me to tears. It’s that deep.

Enjoyable

I found this audiobook to be a good listen, steamy, and entertaining. No much for the character development, given the length. However, the storyline and narration were both great.
