A pinch of salt

I enjoyed this book! Lovely romance with family members making for a really good experience. Oh, and a tiny bit of Elvis added in.

Slow burn with light angst!

Millie and Jackson are completely adorable. I fell super quickly for Jackson and his daughter Kayla. This is one of those audiobooks that just generally makes you feel good. It makes you smile sweetly and fall in love a bit yourself. I loved the narrator, Melanie Ewbank. She has a wonderful voice for the slow burn with light angst. This audiobook is perfect for a light, summer read that will quickly capture your heart.

A Pinch of Salt

A love story that has a few hurdles to overcome that are so realistic the author did an amazing job. Single parents definitely have it hard when trying to move on and yet take their child’s feelings into consideration as well. I loved this book and will definitely be listening to the next!

Millie and Jackson!

Millie is a caterer and she and her two twin sisters started Three Sister’s Catering. She is manning the shop alone one day when an attractive man comes in looking to arrange a tea party for his daughter’s birthday so even though it is not normally something they would do she agrees.

Jackson is a high school teacher and single father to his nine year old daughter Kayla since his wife left over a year ago. He is trying to make this birthday special for his daughter but he is so out of his element in arranging a tea party. When he meets Millie he is interested in much more than a tea party.

This is a wonderful story about family and love and the complications that come with them. All the characters are well developed including Kayla and Millie’s two sisters. This is the first book I have read by this author and I look forward to reading Tasha’s story. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of the audio book from the author.

Sweet Romance

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This book was exactly what I needed. I have been in a book hangover from a series I was reading and this brought me out of it. I loved Millie and Jackson. The story was so sweet. I cannot wait to read the next book. The narrator was enjoyable too!
