Even the twist had a twist!
It drove me crazy that I couldn’t figure out what was going on! Dona Fox is the master of short horror thrillers. I never feel like anything was missing despite the short story. This one really had me going. Poor Mindy is having a really bad day and can’t nor could I figure out who the killer was. Great listen that will take you back to One flew over the Cuckoos nest. Narrator did a great job bring the story life and keep the thriller feeling thick in the room

Twists within twists
Just about the time I “know” I have it figured out, I “know” how it will end, Dona Fox does her twist within a twist and then I “know” NOTHING. A fun listen, actually got the goosebumps standing up on my arms. Susan Marlowe delivers professionally.

Freaky psychological horror!
Another great story by DF. As always, creepy atmosphere, nicely crafted, and a pretty freaky idea. A little Cuckoo's Nest, a little Face Off, a lotta creepy. I really liked the narrator too!

I did not see that ending coming!
I did not see that ending coming! I usually can guess the ending pretty quickly, but I was totally wrong on this audio book. A very interesting and fast moving story. Narration was perfect. Well worth the listen. I received this audio book for free for an honest review.

A Perfect Memory
Wow, what a psychological thriller. This may be a short story, but it certainly messed with my mind. The twist certainly kept me guessing.
Dona Fox has me on the edge of my seat as I listened to this short.
Great narration by Susan Marlowe.

Exciting, stressing, prefect!
Before the read, I wondered how can someone deliver a horror story in an hour, I was not disappointed, it keeps you at the edge of your seat and when you think you figured it out... plot twist!
Magnificently delivered, I enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you.

Mind Blowing! 4.5 Chilling & Thrilling Stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
You better watch what you are volunteering for. This is one bizarre psychological thriller, it is well written and well told and grabs your attention right from the start. Just when you think you have a clue you soon learn that you don’t. Dana Fox masterfully takes you into what seems like a mad house and a mad person’s mind, she takes you for a ride, a terrifyingly haunted ride. And then gives an ending that will blow your mind. This is an amazing short story, moves you to the edge of your seat and has your heart racing. Well done Dana Fox, very well done! Thank you for this great read.
I listened to the Audible edition, Susan Marlowe does a wonderful job narrating the story, setting the perfect tone. She performs the voices for all the characters, brings them to life from the pages to your ears.

A Short Horror Story
: Dona Fox
A short horror listen.
This is the first Dona Fox story I've listened to. It is a short horror story. Mindy Mason is a student from the University, she volunteered for one experiment. What she finds is she's trapped in a waking nightmare. Who are sane, who are not? The listener will be dragged kicking and screaming into this story.
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Susan Marlowe scared my half to death.
