Publisher's summary

Eli loves his job as a hired fist. He gets to help pregnant omegas through a very intimate and personal moment in their lives - giving birth.

When Maxim, an alpha polar bear shifter, asks for Eli’s help making an app to pair hired fists with pregnant omegas in need, Eli immediately agrees. He doesn’t expect to be so captivated by Maxim’s kind blue eyes and quiet intelligence. After all, Eli’s never felt attracted to another alpha before.

But Maxim makes him question everything.

When their friendship turns into a passion more life-changing than Eli has ever known, the biggest question he has is this: How will Maxim feel about being in a relationship with a hired fist? Is Eli willing to quit his job to be with him? And if he does, what will happen to the pregnant penguin shifters who need his help?

A Nest for Eli is book six of the Alaskan Pebble Gifters series and will not make sense unless you have listened to the entire series. While Eli’s and Max’s story is more focused on MPreg than any other book in the Alaskan Pebble Gifters series, neither of the main characters become pregnant. You can still expect penguin chicks at the end, nesting, and lots of penguin shifter nonsense.

A Nest for Eli includes scenes of tender sharing that are an integral and sweet element of Eli’s and Maxim’s relationship.

Fabulous

I became a fan of this narrator in previous installments of this author’s books. When you read the story it’s awesome add a voice and it’s a new level of wow.

Wield Magic

There is so much power in this story. It really focus on the couple but of course there is some interaction with the past characters. I love the strength of the bond between Eli and Maxium. Each brings out more from the other. I also love the way they are able to move forward as a couple and other positive changes for many.
I listened to the audio version and really enjoyed it.

Best Egging Fog Scenes of the Series thus Far

To really understand A Nest for Eli , and therefore enjoy it as I did , one must listen to the previous 5 books in the Alaskan Pebble Series in chronological order . The world building and characters-driven stories are linked to each other.

In a A Nest for Eli , Amy Bellows gives us a very intimate and at times incredibly sad tale of survival and perseverance. While also mixing it up with her hilarious sense of humor , on the spot comedic timing and lots of steam.

Zachary Zaba delivered a solid narration. It was a bit shaky starting up but it was smooth sailing afterwards.

Super sweet!

Eli and Maxim's story is super sweet! I really love that their relationship is different from the other couples (and threesome) in the series. This book had several surprises that I really like. I definitely recommend this entire series, but I think this is my favorite at this point.

Max and Eli forever!

Once again this author has managed to make us take a good look at some tough subjects while disguising them in a cute shifter story.

This book brings up Sex work and Homosexuality and makes us think about how individual cultures view topics like these differently. But also how every culture has aspects of human nature that is condemned as wrong.

I love how Max and Eli stand up for their love and will do what it takes to be together!

The world of Heron Manor keeps growing and I’m so very here for it!

Great Story and World Building

While this is a standalone couple, we see cameos of each previous couple in this book. Also, to understand what’s going on in this world you should read the prior books as well.

Eli and Maksim are an alpha alpha couple and are fated mates. This is illegal in the polar bear shifter community and is one of the hurdles this couple has to take. Their romance is pretty fast and the resolutions to their external issues resolve beautifully. We get a nice HEA for these two as well.

I am curious if Dominic will have a story though.
