Publisher's Summary

An actress who loves Christmas...

Holly Rhodes is in Snow Hill, PA, to star in the movie of her dreams - a Christmas romance. She’s always been obsessed with the magic of the season, so she's not surprised to fall in love with this charming town and the handsome owner of the inn where she's staying - even if he is a bit of a Scrooge.

And an innkeeper who’s taunted by mistletoe and memories.

Nick Patterson knows better than to fall for a holiday movie star. He's been there, done that, and has the emotional scars to prove it. Besides, he doesn’t need any distractions while he works against the clock to bring the town’s 45th annual Gingerbread Ball to life.

Can the slow burn between Holly and Nick ignite into a love that lasts longer than the Christmas season, or will it all go up in flames?

Holly and Nick’s story is a sweet Christmas romance, suitable for all ages.

Love Hallmark Christmas movies? This one's for you

Holly loves everything to do with Christmas. So, when she's offered a role in a Christmas movie in a small town dedicated to the holiday, what could be better?

Nick's seen his share of starlets come and go from his small-town inn. As a matter of fact, the last one stole his heart and trampled on it. So, he's not about to be pulled into the spell of another beautiful actress who will be here today and gone tomorrow.

Yet, there's something that pulls them each to the other. And that raises questions about what they thought they always wanted. Is it really enough? Or is there something else that might just be even better? Especially if they're together?

This is a very enjoyable sweet holiday romance that I truly enjoyed listening to. The characters were fun and interesting, and I was happy to see them work everything out.

I did detract a star from the narration because there were a number of audio editing issues, where phrases were duplicated in succession.

Hallmark Christmas Movie-esque

*I received a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for my honest review*

Story: 3.5 stars

The story is okay, not necessarily all that believable. I failed to connect to the main characters and that took away from the overall enjoyment. Very Hallmark movie-esque, very quick story. A couple of editing errors where tenses were changed in the middle of a sentence.

Narration: 2.5 stars

Ms. Alkass is a decent reader/narrator, but no voice acting occurred. I prefer a book to be acted. The occasional editing error of a word being said twice.

It’s an imbedded Hallmark movie.

Holly is everyone’s favorite movie star but without the attitude. Nick has been burned by the movies and a particular leading lady and doesn’t want anything to do with stars. But every Christmas a different movie production shows up to film in their perfect town and stays at his family’s inn. Holly and Nick have sparks but he’s been burned and she’s leaving in a month. This is a fun Christmas story -it’s like a Hallmark movie within a hallmark movie. It puts a smile on your face.

Sweet, clean and fun!

Book is about a movie star who loves all things Christmas. Her movie is set to film in a small town that does Christmas big. Love strikes her 2 ways, the man and the town but will either be enough to keep her there after she gets some devastating news? This was a cute one!

Sweet Christmas Romance

** Audiobook Review **. I was given a copy of this audio book for an honest review. A sweet, clean, Christmas “Hallmarky” romance. I LOVE Hallmark Christmas movies so listening to this story was perfect for me. Jess Mastorakos delivers a dynamic story & Kaitlyn Alkass does a fantastic job narrating. I recommend listening to (or reading) this book! I need Jack & Robin’s story now. 😉
