The strength and wellbeing of Hali and the love she gave her children, even though her mother did not give her the same

I loved the story from beginning to end! It is amazing what she overcame and the love she ga to her girls

Person can live through pain and heartache and find joy in life.

The story line has flashbacks for one of the characters that no one should have to live through but she does. I enjoyed hearing how she came through all that happened to her.

Emotions

The surprise steal of the bag. The helpless feeling of having nothing in a strange place.

I felt my pain also from my childhood . I wish there was a sequel to this book to the rest of their lives . Thank you Danielle Steele for writing this book for me ❤️

I loved the book just wish it were longer with more character interaction. I was left wanting children and mom to reconnect and story to have a deeper / better ending. But it was a beautiful book.
