Michael’s grasp of scripture, and his ability to explain theological concepts in an easy-to-understand way, skillfully intertwines biblical scripture and personal life experiences to portray an authentic path to salvation. He covers the nature of sin, the existence of Heaven and Hell, the importance of eternal security, the perceived tension between the scientific theory of creation in relation to biblical faith, prophecies, and challenges living the Christian faith in todays world.
When listened to beginning to end, the book gives the listener a solid foundation of “Why God Just Makes Sense” -- a good book to give out to family, friends, neighbours or acquaintances who maybe searching.
The author is a mechanic who understands that there are rules and procedures to follow when fixing things, and he uses that analogy to describe his walk with God. The Bible is God's manual for his creation to follow. This handbook gives the listener a clear overview of God and the Christian faith. Michael provides logical answers for those who have questions about God. He systematically approaches the Word of God -- connecting the dots from Genesis to Revelation. There is a sincerity and inspirational tone in his writing. Whether he is sharing personal details about his life or explaining Bible passages, his narrative style is straightforward and easy to follow. Borthwick's tone is casual and warm like a friendly conversation in a friend's living room.
