An British accent for a story set in the US?

The story is great. Suspenseful.
A British accent is great for a story based in the UK, not in the US. Somehow, the hick or southern drawl is not very convincing when attached to a polished English accent! 😉

A Jeffery Deaver Disappointment

Would you try another book from Jeffery Deaver and/or David McCallum?

Yes I generally like Jeffery Deaver's writing

definately not, I love this genre, this was just badly done

The reading was good, but the story was just not up to the usual Deaver novels
