Enjoyed
This is the first story I listened to by Jeffery Deaver, I enjoyed the book didn't much care for the ending but I didn't write it. Over all very interesting to listen to.

A refreshing change
I have read many books by this author and of late I have stopped reading because his books were so verbose and would get so bogged down in the details that I would lose interest in the story. This was not the case with this novella. It was a great tale that kept the reader interested and a great ride to the end. I would highly recommend this book.

A Complete Crime Story Well Written
I have read several of this author’s short stories, specifically in the Lincoln Rhyme universe , and they are never satisfying. This is the exception. It was fully developed, a good read and a fun twist and double twist ending all in only 2 hours.

Loved it.
I love the book with many twists and turns that I didn't see coming. Which is typical for Jeffrey Deaver. one of my favourite authors.

Deaver’s best short story!
Although his short stories don’t always live up to the author’s wonderful talent for writing twists and turns, this one does not disappoint.

Not quite Jeffrey Deaver
Why the story line was interesting it wasn't quite the Jeffrey Deaver story I'm used too . There was no thrill or mystery or devious kills. It was a little lackluster. I want it more. It reminded me of lack of 1st year writer or something.

Good story
Short and sweet, this was good to listen to. The last few chapters were predictable, but still made a nice wrap up.

Great Double Cross.
I enjoyed this story very much. This is not a book I would normally go for and was pleasantly surprised. The characters were interesting and believable. The twist of the plot was not what I expected.
