Heroic and Heartwarming

This was an excellent story about one of the Lost Boys of Sudan, and his resilience, transformation, and vision.

eye opening listen for all ages! everyone from my 8 year old up to myself were moved by this well told real story.

Very inspirational and well written. Overall it is a great book and would recommend it.

Very moving book that gives understanding & empathy for others

I read this book because I'm in training to be a foster parent for international children who might come from war-torn parts of Africa. This book was perfect for that purpose to give me understanding, but it is also a great read for all children and adults to evoke understanding, empathy and compassion for innocent bystanders of war in other countries plus to develop a desire to take action and help them through the non-profit called Water for South Sudan.
