A short trip into Curze's mindset.
A short story diving into the mindset of Konrad Curze, Primarch of the 8th Legion Astartes.
A very dark and immersive experience - Horus Heresy and 40k fans will enjoy this (newcomers will also find this interesting).

Know what you are getting into.
If you know anything of the Night Lords or Konrad Curze, then you know that they use any means to sow fear into compliance. If this is your first romp into Warhammer 30K, then you have been warned.
Performances are good, except for Curze who is voiced by either Jonathan Keeble or Toby Longworth. I just came off the Art of Provocation where (one of the two) played Lukas the Trickster and Curze sounds more like the Jackal Wolf than the Nighthunter.

My favorite Primarch and his legion in action.
I am awestruck by the quality of this audiobook. The effects and background music really set the mood and bring you into the story. Something sorely missed in regular audiobooks. I would love to hear more like this.
