One man’s story and Opinion on heavy metal

I enjoyed this and did agree with some things and definitely disagreed with others .Like most metal heads I think k I’m right and you’re wrong and it’s his book not mine. But I have deducted one star for saying Pantera last Lp Reinventing the Steel sucked!!!! Your wrong!!also. It knowing Troy Sanders is the bass player in mastodon?? Unless I listened to that part wrong I didn’t rewind it. .. I’d love to do this myself. I’d include more of the stoner doom and sludge though in mine

Worth it on so many levels. Informative. Funny. and the delivery by the author / comedian / metal band member is exceptional.

This is an amazing book

I ❤️ this book. It is amazing. I do wish that it would have talked more about prog, but that’s ok. The author is also funny. I would recommend this book to any metal fan.

This book kept my attention and cracked me up at times when I didn't agree with his opinion. I think thr time line for metal was well written and executed.
