I love Hailey Edward's books but I'm not a fan of this reader

I liked the voice the reader used for the narration and wished she'd used that for the FMC voice instead of the one she did. the FMC sounded like she a breath away from a nervous break down to me. the reader did well with the other ccharacharacter voices and kept a good pace. I just didn't enjoy the FMC's voice.
the story is a good one and I've read it many times. it's one of my recovery books. something to bring me back into reading when another book leaves me in a book hangover and it's hard to read anything for a while.
