Publisher's summary

Three bickering half sisters.

One unique antiques shop.

The coziest holiday season of their lives.

Wildly different half sisters Maggie, Simone, and Star have hardly seen one another since their sprightly summers at Rowan Thorp, their eccentric father Augustus’s home. Known for his bustling approach to the knick-knack shop he ran, Augustus was loved by all and known by none, not even his daughters.

Now, years later, the three estranged women are called upon for the reading of Augustus’s will and quickly realize he's orchestrated a series of hoops through which they must jump to unlock their inheritance—the last thing any of them want to do. But Maggie and Star desperately need the money. And who would Simone be to resist?

Through hilarious goose chases, small-town mishaps, and one heart-warming winter solstice celebration, love, hope, and reconciliation is in the air, if only the three sisters can let themselves grasp it.

The adventure between sisters

The complexity of the storyline and the whimsical environment. Savenger hunts, love of a father and mystery.

Well developed story and characters

Loved the story concept and all of the characters were well written and developed. I was invested in the winter solstice event coming together. I do enjoy when family relationships are mended and the reason behind families coming together having a deeper meaning than the surface level of the initial draw of money. I think reading this novel this time of year was extra special. I would highly recommend reading this book. There were fun twists in the story to keep you on your toes but the story to conclude in a good place. I appreciated that the epilogue had a lot of depth to it. I always like to hear about how the characters are doing 5 years later and it not be a one line update. The author did a great job with this novel.

Lovely warm story for the holidays

The narration was perfection, not grating or overly sweet. The story was funny and heartwarming and redemptive. A perfect Christmas listen.

A delight to listen to

This was a lovely story about three sisters, and their adorable community. It’s one of those books that is a happy escape from the real world, and makes you want to move to a small village to live a simpler life.
