Publisher's Summary

A dash of destiny and a pinch of passion can change everything....

Scottish warlock Rory MacGregor knows something from the supernatural world is trying to kill him. He’s not sure exactly what that something is, but it’ll make for a fun adventure figuring it all out. Of course, nothing is simple, so when Fate tosses in a dash of destiny to keep him on his toes by way of an enchanting new arrival in town, he’s all in. He just wished she was, too.

Life hasn’t turned out as planned for Jennifer Greene. After taking care of her sick father for years, she’s come to Green Vallis, Wisconsin, for one reason only - a job. She isn’t looking for adventure, even if it’s by way of a tempting Highlander in a kilt or men streaking across the countryside. And she definitely isn’t looking for love - even though love is looking for her.

From the Highlands of Scotland to the valleys of Wisconsin... A modern-day Scottish paranormal romance by New York Times best-selling author Michelle M. Pillow.

Warning: Contains yummy, hot, mischievous MacGregors who are almost certainly up to no good on their quest to find true love. And Uncle Raibeart.

Good Addition

A Dash of Destiny was a good addition to this series. It didn't Wow me as much be the others have and I'm not sure why really. I couldn't warm up to the H, Jennifer as much as I have the previous h' s. And that disappointed me, because I was looking forward to Rory's tale. It was still a good book, just not my favorite. Michael Ferraiuolo did a winderful job narrating as always!!

Another Great Addition to the Series

Once again, Michelle M. Pillow manages to keep me laughing with this installment in the Warlocks MacGregor series. The character work and story line were well written and highly entertaining. The narrator did a fabulous job bringing this book to life and made this book as enjoyable to listen to as it is to read.

I received a copy of the Audiobook and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

A Dash of Destiny to Change Your Life

A Dash of Destiny is about Scottish warlock, Rory MacGregor and Jennifer Greene. Rory has an almost immortal life. He wanted the same thing that his cousins have after having lived so long.

Book #8 is the first book I have read/listened to, in the Warlocks MacGregor series. This book can be read as a stand alone without missing anything that happens prior to this story.

The story started out with a prologue but didn't offer any information on how Rory survived the Jenny Greenbog's enchanted bog. The mystery continued to modern time of an unknown force trying to kill Rory by using Jennifer "Jenny" Greene.

Jenny's life is complicated. Life has never been kind to her but she made the best of it. The last thing she expected was that magic was real and to be possessed to end Rory.

The most hilarious character is Uncle Raibeart, who seemed to be running around naked. He is the character that the MacGregor clan seemed to ignore yet he is the only one that seemed capable of putting the pieces together.

I love how the title of the book makes sense. To Jenny, a dash of destiny could change the course of her life. I do love Jenny's attitude toward life. Her life did changed when she met Rory under unusual circumstances.

I love the narrator, Michael Ferraiuolo's Scottish accent for the MacGregor clan. It is hilarious how loud the clan is since they seemed to talk over each other. The narrator's portrayal of Jennifer just make Jenny the only one sane to accept the impossibles.

I was given this audiobook by the author. I have decided to voluntary write an unbiased review for this book. I was not compensated or influence in any way of writing this review.

Hilarious and Entertaining!

This is the eighth book in the Warlocks MacGregor Series, a paranormal romance. This is an interconnected series of standalone novellas. Rory and Jennifer's story is hilarious, fast-paced, and entertaining. I liked the mystery. Rory's family is so much fun! The story has a beautiful HEA. Michael Ferraiuolo did a fantastic job with the narration. I enjoyed it, and I highly recommend it! I am looking forward to listen to the first books in the Series!

Wonderfully fun

This was a fun little nugget of a paranormal read. Loved the accents and the characters. The story kept me intrigued and on the edge of my seat! A super fun listen to make a day of work go by super fast. While this is a series I haven’t read or listened to any others and I wasn’t lost at all. It’s a standalone but I adore the family and plan on checking out the rest!!!! Both the story and the narrator both were wonderful.

Addicting listen

The first few lines certainly got my attention. I loved how the author wove it into the story.
Rory and Jennifer are complex characters. Jennifer is struggling on her own while Rory has a bug family to support him. This storyline was very interesting! I loved how it was a thriller/mystery book with a side of romance. Rory’s family is a hoot especially his crazy uncle. I’m looking forward to listening to more of this series.
I listened to the audiobook and it was truly a addicting listen. The narrator, Michael did a great job portraying both Jennifer, Rory, and the supporting characters.

The MacGregor's at at it again

Rory MacGregor is envious, his cousins have all found their true loves, and after hundreds of years he is still alone. When he first meets Jennifer she tries to kill him. He see's this as a minor obstacle in the future relationship. Jennifer is both attracted to and wants to kill Rory. This is another fun filled MacGregor story.
This is an excellent adaptation and the narration is spot on.

Fun story

This books returns us again to the fabulous quirky MacGregor family. This time we find Rory, who feels that fate has passed him by after all the rest of his family seem to be finding their true loves. Even when he meets Jennifer, all is not right as she keeps wanting to kill him.
Another fun listen to in the Warlocks MacGregor series. Truly these are my favourite stories.

Great Story

When Rory meets Jennifer he thinks it's magic and Jenny fights the urge to hurt him. The attraction is obvious. This is my first MacGregor book and lordy, I laughed so hard. The Scottish voice was so funny. The narrators voice is very nice. I liked all the characters. This book was a fun and easy listen. Books seem funnier when done in someone else's voice, my imagination isn't as funny. This one is among the favorites. I highly recommend it.

Engaging and Full of Fun!

This was such an engaging and funny story! I just loved the way Rory and Jennifer’s romance developed. The narrator did an amazing job with the Scottish accents - they were spot on and I should know having family in Scotland. I love the MacGregors and their funny family quirks! And Railbert - what can I say - he makes me laugh out loud every time he’s in a chapter. This should be made into a TV serial! Just brilliant!

Rory & Jennifer make for an interesting and entertaining couple and story! A lighthearted thrill romance story! Love the MacGregors and their magical shenanigans! LOL!
