Love this series!

Very cleverly written and well plotted. There are surprises even when I think I have it figured out. I love the character of “Uncle” and hope he has a bigger role in coming books. I do wish that Mr Hopkins could voice Val in a higher register because she sounds like a man, which is jarring and sometimes takes a minute to figure out who is speaking.

LOVE this Series! Well written, strong sense of time and place. The narrator, John Hopkins, is perfect. Arby is amazing; funny, lovable, fun to follow him and his side kick, Val. I enjoy all of Faith Martin’s books especially in audio. This is her most entertaining series so far. Please keep them coming!
