Publisher's summary

It is the late 1700s in Eastern Europe. A beautiful woman must travel across the treacherous Dark Forest to be by the side of her dying grandmother. With only a young carriage driver to protect her, she must use her wits and all of her courage to cross the wild country.

From the beginning, a mysterious wolf stalks her every move, and a deadly wolf pack, led by a black wolf, seems determined to kill her. When she stops at a hidden village deep in the forest, gruesome murders force her to flee to a nearby castle. A castle that holds its own secrets. And what follows will unravel everything she knows.

It is a time of castles, muskets, werewolves, and other hideous creatures of the night. Nothing is as it seems, and it is only the beginning of this journey. Come, join us for all the horror, mystery, and romance this story has to offer. You will learn as she does that only love can defeat evil.

Breathtaking and Atmospheric...A Must-Read!

If you were to combine the original terror of Hollywood’s Universal Monster flicks with the storytelling found in classic radio shows and infuse it with a dramatic Gothic and dark fairy tale story, author Alan McGill’s “A Cry in the Moon’s Light would be the story you heard. The author’s audiobook release is an instant hit, with dynamic vocal work to bring both the narration and characters to life perfectly. The buildup of tension and atmosphere using expert sound effects and music really made this feel like a cinematic quality story and a gripping dark fantasy world that you can easily get lost in.

On top of the incredible character development and mythology the author has ingrained into this narrative, the audiobook adds so much more depth to the original story. Not only is the book opened with a truly remarkable Epic poem that brings the series to life eloquently, but the ending of the book opens up a look at the upcoming sequel everyone is dying to read, Undead Wars. The preview of the sequel adds even more depth of growth for the existing characters while teasing even more terrifying and dark creatures that the author has populated this world with.
