Holy Crow

Hot and steamy, fun and funny, I love EVERYTHING about this, from the reading to the story, the action and adventure. The attitude and romance, Cass isn’t some simpering heroine relying on some guy(s) to save her and give her validation, she if fierce and independent and her mates love EVERY bit of it! I am enthralled with Victoria Mei’s reading, she totes brings the characters to life and draws the listener in without distractions of cheesyness. 10/10 recommend!

LOVED THIS!!

Another fantastic story from Meg Xuemei X! This is the second installment in the War of the Gods series and it does NOT disappoint! Brought to life by the incredible vocal talents of Victoria Mei, this book is full of action, adventure, and steam! It picks up from exactly where the last book left off, and follows Cass and her men while she grows into her powers, begins to learn what it means to be an adult, and completes her bonds with all of her guys. I did not want it to end!!! I absolutely can not wait for the next installment to make it to audible! While I received a free review copy of this book, I am happily leaving this voluntary, honest review because I loved this story that much! Buy it now, you won't regret it!!!

OHHHHH how I love Cass's growth in this book.

Our Cass is learning new things about herself everyday. With her powerful mates, and her new best friend by her side she is finally starting to realize who she is. Her growth hasn't been easy, and she will still have to prove to herself that she is more than just a weapon but Cass isn't one to lay down and just take what comes her way.
With growth comes trouble and lets just say Cass finds herself in some deep water and because of it the book does leave us with a bit of a cliff hanger but its so worth it.
I love Megs writing and I love Victoria's narration, together they have literally brought Cass, her mates and Amber to life for me! 10/10 stars. I would recommend this one to EVERYONE!!!!!!!

Cass is in for trouble and a lot of steamy fun

Cass is at it again, after a threat on her life, her crazy mother trying to kill her again, she is up for the fight of her life. With Olympian Gods hunting her and her mates lusting to complete the mating bond she has her hands full.


Another awesome installment. The voice cast are excellent and being the book to life! I can’t wait for the next one

Book 2

Oh I’m loving this series and it’s keeping me so enthralled. Yikes I’m already needing the next book.

Victoria Mei is fantastic and I honestly cannot wait to see what’s next for Cass and her guys.

Spending time with Cass and her boys is so exciting, highly recommend this series. Wonderful reverse harem with funny, well developed characters and on the edge of your seat action that keeps you involved throughout. I’m dreaming of all the characters it’s so good ❣️

WOW I’m loving this author and narrator! Perfect combination. This is book 2 and it kept my attention immediately! This book is funny and sexy and has a great story! Loving it.

A Court of Fire and Metal

I love that the story actually picks back up where we left off in book 1. The book is action packed and fast paced, which I love! It means you don't want to put it down. Cass and her mates are prepping for what must come next and are trying to prepare her for her future. Cass's character is very difficult at times and I relate this to her lack of contact with anything living. She can be very childish. But I believe at this time its what we are supposed to be seeing! Victoria Mei does a fantastic job bringing this book and series to life and pulling you right in!

So much potential. Characters were underdeveloped

The first book was good and caught my attention however I’m not sure what happened with this one it skipped around and didn’t develop the characters at all. I felt like half the book was the main character whining. Had so much potential.

I hate Cass

I literally hate the main character. She is all front. She is whiny and self absorbed. Its silly that someone who has been trapped in a cage since she was 2 is so obsessed with fashion. I get the food thing, but making food demands about cakes and things is ridiculous. I get that she dream visited the mortal world, but where did she get her attitude and bad language? She isn't strong or grateful for anything that is ever done for her. I can't think of a moment where she was humbled or genuinely grateful for anything thats done for her or those around her. She argues for the sake of arguing and it gets tiring. I will finish the series... probably... because I hate not finishing things, but this is bad.

HOT paranormal RH, with Greek gods

Love the mix of characters and how much Cas learns her magic from just winging it. This book is hotter than the 1st, and shows some growth in the characters. Ends with a huge cliffhanger.

Outstanding

The heroine is just so "take me as I am" personality. Love how she doesn't put up with crap! Even better knowing she has this strong personality but will put it aside for special moments with her mates so they know how much they mean to her. So much action and a twist towards the end! Lots of hot and steamy scenes all with a fantastic plot. Victoria Mei really does an outstanding job giving the characters life. Can't get enough of this series!!!

Omg! Action packed And excitement!

Wonderful start to 2nd book in the series!
I got totally sucked into this book right from the very beginning. It was a wild ride at times. This is a reverse harem and smoking hot.
This book combines magic, romance, lots of wild action. This book is well written and narrated.

This was an amazing book made even better by an exceptional narration! Victoria Mei has your attention from the beginning because she has an excellent way of sucking you into the story with her multiple voices. She definitely gives each character the own personality and makes you feel as if you are right there with the characters.

Getting better and better

Lots of thrilling action and adventure. This storyline is unfolding nicely. Hot and steamy at times. Victoria is amazing, she gives these characters brilliant personalities with her voice. Well written.

The war continues!

This book is so busy, and has so much packed into it! I couldn't stop listening. Picking up where book 1 left off, (Yes, you must listen to all of them to get the full story), Cass and her four soulmates begin to get her ready for war. Going to the Academy is one step and Cass meets several new and intriguing characters there. Noah is one that we just aren't sure of. Full of charm and charisma, she is watching out for him. And her new good friend, the soothsayer Amber. She is a good influence and so far I am really liking her. Cass's relationships grow and the love between her four men and her keeps growing. I did find Cass a little overbearing at times, but with her impending responsibility and her past, I can understand her attitude and frustrations! She is a force to be reckoned with. If you like reverse harems, action packed scenes, strong females and just a really good story, this series is one you will enjoy! It will keep you on your toes, wondering what will happen next and your steam meter high!

Victoria Mei is incredible with her portrayal of this story. There are so many characters, and each time she changes voices, know exactly who is speaking. She nails each one with the perfect voice, giving them their own personality and makes the listen a movie in your mind experience.
