LOVED THIS!!

Another fantastic story from Meg Xuemei X! This is the second installment in the War of the Gods series and it does NOT disappoint! Brought to life by the incredible vocal talents of Victoria Mei, this book is full of action, adventure, and steam! It picks up from exactly where the last book left off, and follows Cass and her men while she grows into her powers, begins to learn what it means to be an adult, and completes her bonds with all of her guys. I did not want it to end!!! I absolutely can not wait for the next installment to make it to audible! While I received a free review copy of this book, I am happily leaving this voluntary, honest review because I loved this story that much! Buy it now, you won't regret it!!!

Another Great Story!

This is a very good book. I love all the main characters including some secondary characters introduced throughout this series.
I’m loving the reverse harem with the sexiest males this world or any other world has seen. Book 3 definitely has its share of twists and unexpected turns.
That being said, I feel that this story is getting to be a little redundant. IMO It’s still a great story but it’s not over yet and I’m feeling like book 4 may be a bit similar.
The narration, once again, was amazing!! It blows my mind how well she lives in each character.

Let the mating-bond claims begin! 😘😍

Right, so we have all four mates and the FMC under the same roof. The bonded-brothers have a mutual understanding of their millenia-old pact. They are surprisingly patient and respectful with Cass. She has them wrapped around her finger and she doesn't even try! Other women immediately see her as competition and a threat. Rightly so, because our foul-mouthed heroine discovers more of her powers each day... yet her origins remain a bit of a mystery. It's like déja vu when the harem and crew decide to go to Lorkin's domain in the mortal realm. Though we should have learned from the last book, that vampires are always up to no good.

In a twist of events, the setting shifts to the Gifted Academy. We meet Cass's future best friend and human seer Amber getting bullied by the elitist mages. Turns out, even supernatural school is just like any other school with their unique set of problems and issues. Fortunately, or unfortunately for Cass, she has Reys and Pyrder's protection as members of the council. Noah, this enigmatic, charming leader, takes an immediate interest in Miss Saélihn. You know her territorial mates won't have any of that. They have yet to fully claim her for themselves!

My favourite scene was Cass racing with Pyrder into the secluded outskirts of the Academy. Pyrder finally takes charge even when they're just fooling around like giddy lovers. That brief moment when Cass notices Noah watching them with a heated glare foreshadows the trouble that's brewing amongst the alien gods. But that mating-bond ritual with the other Fae prince tho...very hot, and entirely too short!!!

Again, we're met with another cliff-hanger... have you forgotten that this is a series? Cassandra may be growing on you, or getting on your last nerves, but one cannot deny that her life is full of non-stop adventure! Everyone wants to use her as the ultimate weapon for their personal gains. Well, they're going to need a whole lot of luck and buckets of miracles to make that happen. And then there's me, happily riding along, excited to see what's next.

Cass is in for trouble and a lot of steamy fun

Cass is at it again, after a threat on her life, her crazy mother trying to kill her again, she is up for the fight of her life. With Olympian Gods hunting her and her mates lusting to complete the mating bond she has her hands full.


Another awesome installment. The voice cast are excellent and being the book to life! I can’t wait for the next one

This is the second book in the War of the Gods Series, a reverse harem fantasy/paranormal romance. You have to listen to the first book in the Series before this one. The story continues where the last ended. We learn more about Cassandra, her quest and her sexy mates. The story is original, action packed, steamy, and also funny. Victoria Mei did an amazing job with the narration!
