A cold retreat
I didn't care much for this book.It was full of rape,unusual sex etc.It went from what one person was thinkingto what another was thinking.Hannibal Hills was excellent as the narrator,as usual.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Dark, twisted, confusing
I tried to like this book. I ignored the confusing way the story seemed to jump around, changing perspectives, time periods and everything at the beginning. I tried to care for characters that felt two-dimensional at best. Even the odd twists the story took, the surprises I didn't see coming I just didn't enjoy the story.
That all said the narration was top notched, and made listening far more enjoyable than I suspect it would be if I were just reading. You could hear the passion that the narrator was trying to put into the work.

A Dark Psychological Thriller
This is a disturbing story of Penny’s horrific life and she eventually wants revenge. At times confusing due to the number of characters and switching of time periods but enjoyed the un expected ending and narration. Beware there are sexual situations. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you
