Would you be willing to try another one of Maxwell Zener’s performances?
NO! The tone of his voice is pleasant enough but he reads in a staccato monotone that sounds like I am listening to air traffic control or the morning pork prices on the agriculture channel.If this book were a movie would you go see it?
Yes. The plot and characters are interesting. I may purchase the hardcover to read.First book in 7 years that I did not finish.

This is a chilling murder mystery (all puns intended!). The book seemed a bit longer than it might need to be at times, but a good one nonetheless. Maxwell Zener's narration was terrific. He has a great pace and rich voice, very pleasant to listen to. He makes it so easy to visualize the situations and the action. Great characters all, and this is a small detail, but I enjoyed the references to the temperature at the beginning of each chapter.A Chilling Story, Beautifully Narrated
