Publisher's Summary

It’s your last love who truly matters.

Owning a candy store should be a fun and delightful profession. Besides, what candy could beat Sally’s Elliot’s signature coffee chocolate fudge?

None, except for the unique infusion candy she designed for Valentine’s Day.

Unfortunately, the signature chocolate required for the candy won’t be delivered on time.

No problem. She’ll pick up the order herself.

When she reaches the diner where the delivery man is stranded, she retrieves the chocolate and intends to return to her shop. But a downed tree detains her. And the handsome, kind man who owns the diner makes her want to stay, especially after she accepts his challenge to prepare homemade delectable chocolates with him.

There’s something about Oliver Menroe’s gentle mannerisms, his genuine interest in his customers, that ignites a hope Sally had extinguished long ago. As a disillusioned single mother, she knows from experience that love doesn’t last forever.

But can she allow herself to believe that one simple ingredient can sweeten their mutual attraction and...for the first time in her life...create a lasting love?

Sweet short story

This is a nice story about a lady who has a chocolate store & makes the chocolates. It is rather short. I am getting involved in the lives of her & a man when suddenly it's over. Disappointing from that standpoint. I like Ms. Voller's voice & her narration. I received this book free from the author. This is my voluntary review.

MY TAKE
What a fun little story. And I mean little. The blurb is almost longer than it is. ;) But really, it's a lot like going by a chocolate store in the mall where they offer you a sample. It's the beginning moment of a romance when the couple first meets and is forced to spend some time together. There's connection and some sizzle but especially two lonely people who finally meet someone they can open themselves to. I have no idea if there's more to Sally and Oliver's story, but I'd sure love to see more. Even the side characters were charming and interesting.

A delightful bit of sweetness.

I listened to the audiobook, and the Narrator Allyson Voller did a great job.

Is love sweeter the second time?

A Chocolate- Box Valentine
Josie Riviera

A sweet clean contemporary romance. Sally is a single mother that owns a specialty candy shop. When her much needed special chocolate she needs for Valentine's Day

candy is delayed she goes to pick it up. An unexpected event happens and she is stuck at a diner. Oliver the diner owner is laid back and friendly compared to Sally's

rushed excitable personality.

Is it possible for two strangers to find a new relationship? Is the second chance romance a possibility for them?

A heartwarming short listen.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by Allyson Voller.

A sweet, short story.

A sweet, short story. I enjoyed Sally and Oliver. Sally is a divorced, single mother and is trying to run a candy business. When a much-needed chocolate shipment is late, it puts her way behind in her Valentine's Day preparations. The delivery driver is stuck at a diner and she decides to meet him to pick up her order. What she finds is a place to relax and an interesting man. She hasn't been interested in anyone since her divorce and she surprised by the feeling. Is there a chance for them?

Great Valentine’s story!

A Chocolate-Box Valentine is a short and sweet romance that I really enjoyed! I love the recipe that was included at the end. This is a perfect choice for when you don’t have much time, but you’re craving a great little romance. Allyson Voller is a great narrator.

It’s all about the chocolate-or is it?

A short sweet Valentines story about what else -chocolate-and so much more. Not much longer than a Valentine card but sure to leave you with a smile. Don’t miss this.
