Fast Paced

This story moves very fast. It is stuffed with an assortment of characters and likenesses so do not come in hoping to daydream for a few minutes here or there. It is light on detail but brisk in movement and all the mechanisms of the plot. It is a whirlwind of happenings. In the end it is a well put together story with heart, soul, and just the right amount of biting humor,

The narrator has A LOT on his plate to juggle. I mentioned there was an assortment of characters above and I mean it. I lost count but there are upwards of 40+ named, speaking, characters in the book and the narrator does a great job of making them all unique as well as adding his own bit of humanity to them.

If you are a Patriot, love a little action, or are just looking for a high speed story. I recommend this book.

High velocity

Very good book. Moves quick and never lets up.. It questions what it means to be a patriot.

Outside of the box

Interesting piece of work. Was not what I expected and I'm not sure how I feel about that. I give credit for making me think more than I thought I would with an audiobook like this. It comes across as those well produced indie movies where there are people who will be annoyed at how different it is and those who love how different it is. I am somewhere in the middle given that I have read over fifty books in this genre and have an idea of what it is I want to read, or listen to in this case, and not getting that has thrown me off. I have to give the story four stars and that might change upon repeated listening. Overall, I think I will be able to appreciate how unique a story it is.
