Best-selling, award-winning author Lori Copeland has dozens of popular romances and many inspirational novels to her credit. Abounding with good-natured fun, A Case of Crooked Letters celebrates the pure, Christian values of small-town America.
Trouble is brewing in the sleepy hamlet of Morning Shade. Multiple chain letters are circulating throughout town, and a local resident is to blame. Little old ladies are being victimized by empty promises of vast riches and rejuvenated health. Fortunately, the plucky Stella Diamond is on the case.

Historia
Eva Jean Roberts, E.J., has come home to Cullen's Corner. Everyone, especially Gram, is wondering why. People born in Cullen's Corner tend, like Newton's First Law of Motion, to remain inert - to live, work, breathe, marry, and die right here in the Corner. Those who do leave tend to keep going, with no inclination to look back. E.J. belonged to the latter. And now she is back? After 18 years?

Historia
When Haze Evans first appeared in the small-town newspaper, she earned fans by writing a story about her bachelor uncle who brought a Queen of the Rodeo to Thanksgiving dinner. Now, 50 years later, when the beloved columnist suffers a massive stroke and falls into a coma, publisher Susan McGrath fills the void (temporarily, she hopes) with Haze's past columns, along with the occasional reprinted responses from readers. Most letters were favorable, although Haze did have her trolls; one Joseph Snell in particular dubbed her "liberal" ideas the "chronicles of a radical hag."

Enjoyable fiction
I have read this entire 3 book mystery trilogy. , , They are light mysteries with moral lessons learned. Each book weaves together small town culture and the lives if 3 women who are each in shifting circumstances. 3 generations, 3 widows. I like that the main character is transparent & self evaluating. I recommend for light, Christian themed fictional reading.

wonderful christian book
I just loved this book! I don't know when I laughed so hard. i may have a warped sense of humor but the further I got into the book, the more I loved it. what a hoot grandma is. I don't think reading this book would be as fun as this book in audible form. yet it deals with real life financial issues. and affirms the best gift is that of a loving family. I highly recommend this book to one and all. narrator was fine. worth every penny I spent for it.

Story of three women with a tiny bit of mystery.
What three words best describe Cristine McMurdo-Wallis’s voice?
Good reader, but they seriously need to move the microphone since you can hear her swallow on a regular basis. Very annoying.
Any additional comments?
It's an okay story of three women. Not exciting, but at least it's clean and once in a while funny.
