Another crime solved

Sixth novella in Widow’s Island series, this case extremely difficult for Logan Wilde as he helps Deputy Tessa Black with the murder of a teen.
Dr. Henry Powers and former FBI Special Agent, now bookstore and bakery owner, Cate Wilde help out as needed.

Really want more!

I really like the series but there is more to know. I felt like the new characters were not very developed and there was more to the story. Many questions left without answers.

Another great case

I really enjoyed this one. It is well written and pulled me in from beginning to end with some twists. I love getting to see the developments with our characters from story to story but they can be read as a standalone. This was another interesting case.

Good twist

Quick mystery with a good twist. I liked Tessa and Logan’s dynamic a lot more than cate and Henry

Entertaining

Very good short story for walking and/or working outside. But, how many people can die on this small island before there are no more inhabitants?

Fast paced police procedural

Welcome back to Widow’s Island. Deputy Sheriff, Tessa, is investigating an explosion, with her beau, Park Ranger, Logan, as her back up. They make a gruesome discovery...the body of a missing teenager. As Tessa continues her investigation, the clues don’t add up. The identity of the killer will leave you speechless. Meanwhile, Tessa has to deal with her mother in early onset dementia, a teenage sister...and a demented chicken. Tessa and Logan are such a sweet couple...glad that their relationship is headed in the right direction.

A Broken Bone

This is the sixth installment in this series and they all sorta intertwine just by characters alone. This one involves foster siblings (not related) and parents. One of the boys was reported missing and when he is found murdered the parents come under suspicion. Everyone thought the parents were the best foster parents until suddenly the tables turn and we discover it was one of the boys. A squatter took his picture and when he was caught up to all the stories fall apart.
