Robin Yocum is my new favorite author
A Brilliant Death didn’t disappoint! It exceeded my expectations. I’m familiar with the lives and places that he writes about so it’s more personal for me. It feels like “home” whenever I start one of Yocum’s books. The narrator was especially good for this one.

An Interesting Read
A good book overall. I felt it was a little slow in parts but overall was well written and engaging. The production let this audiobook down. It was obvious that several sections had been overdubbed later and it was a little annoying. Otherwise, well worth a credit.

Difficult listen
I am a big fan of Robin Yocum’s stories, however this narrator was hard to listen to. He was without enthusiasm. A bit of a damper on otherwise a good story.

Excellent
Brilliant is one of the most entertaining coming of age books ever. The narrator was phenomenal. Initially, I didn't care for him but as I listened I understood why this narrator was so appropriate. Thanks to an excellent review making this very comment I hung in and I was captivated. I absolutely love this author and each narrator selected to bring his stories to life. Thank you
