What are the seven deadly sins?

The Desert Fathers - Christian monks in the ancient Egyptian and Palestinian wilderness - strove to understand the causes and remedies of human sin and were the first to categorize temptations under the headings of the "deadly sins". Absolutely Phenomenal!

I cannot say enough about the profound nature of this book. It takes you to the true place where the seven deadly sins are addressed and through your own work defeated. Father Bochanski does such a wonderful job both in terms of writing this book and narrating it himself. This is the true path for the believer and as much as Dantes Inferno is the divine comedy for all-time and is creative and introspective it is not the true answer - this book is.

Fabulous treatise

I purchased this through my audible subscription and I must say I am on my 4th time though the book. I learn something new each time! It is one of the best treatments on the 7 Deadly Sins I have ever read or heard and a virtual prescription on their avoidance and/or treatment from the desert fathers. I hope it becomes available in print format as I have a few friends who have already asked for print copies.

It also helps us to more clearly see the sins that can so often sneak into our lives.
