Publisher's Summary

Two weeks after Henry's abduction, he is still burning with questions: Had his mother really tortured him with a synthetic nightmare? Was he really one of the CIA Sleep Control Program's first experiments? What was on the flash drive that the President had supposedly given him? But most importantly, if his mother had caused his condition, could she reverse it?

Henry soon begins the hunt for his mother, but to find her, he'll need to delve into her past, a world where nothing is as it seems, where the Cold War still exists, where secrets are the only currency, and where torture is an art form. In his search for answers, Henry learns that everything - his condition, his mother, his father, even the President - are linked by one thing: Project Sandman.

It might - just might - be his salvation.

Enjoyable

I stumbled on this author while looking for a mystery series collection. It took me a minute to warm up to his character’s witty snarky persona. Now I am hooked and I reading everything I can get my hands on by Nick Pirog.

More of the same

If you loved the previous Henry Bins stories, then you will love this one. The same lovable characters, the same ridiculous.premise and I loved it. As long as you can accept the impossible things that could never happen in real life you will enjoy the book.

Every book better than the last and they’re all good!

My absolute favorite is the conversations Henry has with Lassie. Hysterical! Love this series so much.

Just plain stupid

This is just too stupid with the meow cat conversations. The premise is ridiculous. Too much profanity thrown in.

Not Nick’s best

I’m a big fan of Nick Pirog. Being generous I’ll just say this isn’t his best work. I’m also not a big fan of people who talk to their cat as if they are human. I’ll just tell you that if you are going to listen to this book it would help if you do have conversations with cats. If not, you may be tempted to pull your ears off.

Different but entertaining

It took me a few chapters to grasp the concept and what was really happening in the story. Once I did it was enjoyable and entertaining.

What else can I say?

Nick Pirog is brilliant! What an amazing series. I hate that I only have one more installment left. I have several audio books download, but I ALWAYS choose his books first. Mr. Pirog, please keep writing.
