Good, but could use a bit of work

I liked how many things are a factor of self improvement and how to deal with your self care. I would recommend having more of a relation to how depression is or how upset people could get, even if you don’t have it yourself. For example explain how you yourself deal with stress or when your upset a little more.

Great Advice for Maintaining a Healthy Mind

The author/narrator states that this book was made for those who battle depression, but I think the lessons taught would benefit anyone is who applies them to their lives. I highly recommend this quick and valuable listen.

Heartfelt and Uplifting

The narrator's voice is so soothing and the message is possitive and warm. I enjoy the author's Fantasy books even more. I hope he makes some audiobook versions of those soon.

Straight to the point

There is nothing new being discussed in this piece, and that it okay. It is solid life advice that we all probably know and should act on but hearing it come from a voice of genuine caring and understanding makes dealing with those life truths just a little bit easier. It allowed me to think that I am not alone in the universe and that many others fight the same battles I do. It really allowed me to stop for a moment and put things into perspective. Highly recommended anytime but at 35 minutes long it's a great quick pick me up after a bad day.

Simple, to the point, and comforting.

As mentioned in the book, the tips given here are not new or unique. However, this does not take away from the impact of the book. Mr. Sivart presents the tips in a way that is not overwhelming, provides examples when appropriate or necessary, and acknowledges that some of the advice here is "easier said than done" while offering support for the reader to push forward. It's a short, motivating collection, perfect for listening to on your daily commute.
