Imprisoned, awaiting execution, one hope is left; a woman brave enough to tame his beast - and strong enough to fight the demons inside both his head and his heart. Because he may have escaped the Hive...but they aren’t finished with him yet.

Warlord Anghar survives hell as a captive of the evil Hive. Convinced he will never break free, he chooses death over dishonor. When the Coalition ReCon Team sent to kill him frees him instead, he begins the long, tortuous journey back to a true Atlan, a warrior proud of his beast, of his service.

No amount of honor, bravery, or strength of will can save Angh from a life alone, banished with the other “contaminated” warriors on The Colony. And no amount of prayer to the gods will save him when the fever in his blood grows beyond his will to control - and the Atlan Mating Fever steals his final shards of belief.

It’s time to give other characters beside Atlans some play time; the storylines are beginning to run together to the point of flatlining; it’s time for something different; I hope the next book spices things up; as much as I’ve liked this series, can only take the similarities for so long until it’s time to throw in the towel. Narrators are great, bring humor to the characters.

Time for Denzel

Loved this smokin hot romance. It had wonderful characters who had great values who wanted to put others first. Exciting missions with some past friends from Battleship Karter from the Interstellar Brides original series. Great narration by Elizabeth Hart & Jeremy York.

Sexy as heck

I read the other reviews about the narrator for female lead, so I was warned. She was okay for most of it, but the flubs were hard to listen to. Also, thank goodness the German character isn't super important because it's the worst German accent I've *ever* heard. ***Cringe***

Story & male narrator were great.

This and all of the Interstellar Bride universe is awesome! It's been my favorite series. Jeremy York is great as always (and hilarious) as just the male but also all the many different characters as well. When he speaks I can see his parts in my mind like I see a movie. I'm sorry to say I had a hard time with Elizabeth Hart this time though. It started the very first time I heard her voice for Warlord Anghar, which instead of sounding like a manly beast, sounded like a monotone bug-person. I actually had to put my phone down multiple times due to frustration with it... it's usually the opposite. lol. But much of her reading of this book is pretty bland. I soon realized that when listening I didn't see her parts like a movie like I usually do (or I dont listen) but what I saw in my mind was a lady sitting in a room with a script in hand reading aloud. Otherwise, STELLAR stories and performances all around!!!✌💜😁

I Love, love, LOVE this book, but...
