Food porn...
10 Kilos Till Christmas: A Mean Gods Short Story by George Saoulidis and narrated by Steve White is a different kind of short story, not bad, just different. If you have a food fetish, this might be the story for you. There are some underlying lessons/themes with it- some being indulge yourself, be happy with yourself, and don’t change yourself for others. The narrator, Steve White, did a good job. 4 stars for story, 5 stars for narration. Why 4 stars? I needed a little more with this one, but maybe you’ll feel different. Do I recommend? Yes. Why? Because it’s unique.
Parental guidance/trigger warnings: body image issues, more so appropriate for those who are older due to some language and sexual undertones.

Didn't do much for me
In this story an already plump girl is cruelly tempted to stuff herself even more, luring her with a fulfillment that has her even sexualizing food. I found it quite gross and depressing. Yes, it's the mean gods series, but for me as a reader it didn't bring me anything wholesome or even interesting at all.
As for narration, I'm not a fan of Steve White's narration but usually find him bearable. This time, when the story doesn't captivate, it makes the narration more difficult to endure.
