Paul visited Thessalonica early in his second missionary journey, A.D. 50-52. In Paul’s day, Thessalonica was the second largest city in Greece/Macedonia, trailing only Athens in size. Amazingly, Paul spends only “three Sabbath days” here before he has to leave town - or be lynched! Yet within six months the church in Thessalonica has become known all over the Roman world for its extraordinary faith. As a church born in the flames of persecution, the church at Thessalonica has several very important questions to ask Paul - especially about the Lord’s return - and Paul addresses these questions in 1 Thessalonians. Reinforcement of living in the body of Christ
Paul's first letter to the Thessalonians as read by Dr. Creasy reinforces what it means to live a life pleasing to God. Creasy's reading, as with most of his readings, is non-judgmental and gentle as it should be.

Dr. Creasy is a wealth of k owledge
I keep coming back for more books of the Bible. His on the ground knowledge makes everything feel so much more authentic.
