Once thought to have been written by Paul, Hebrews is in fact written by one of Paul’s inner circle prior to A.D. 70, but no one knows exactly who. Addressed to Jewish Christians, our author examines several key issues from a Jewish perspective, drawing heavily upon the Torah for his support. In the marvelous chapters 7-10, our author sees Christ foreshadowed in the Tabernacle; the five great sacrifices of Leviticus; the priest Melchezedek from Genesis 14; and the Law itself. All, our author argues, are merely copies or shadows of the good things that were to come. Hebrews draws deeply on the Hebrew Scriptures, seeing Christ on every page. Explains Jesus "The Great High Priest"

I've heard Jesus referred to as the "Great High Priest", but I never understood it. Hebrews does a great job explaining that concept. As always, Dr. Creasy is a great lecturer and storyteller.

Bill is a great teacher

Together with his knowledge of the Middle East ,customs of the time and more importantly he is a true Christian , what a wonderful learning experience

YES! WHO WOULDN'T! THESE ARE GOD'S WORDS! GRADUALLY, I AM ADDING DR. CREASY'S BIBLE STUDIES TO MY LIBRARY AND HAVE LEARNED A TON FROM HIS AMAZING KNOWLEDGE OF SCRIPTURE! AND ALL PRESENTED WITH SUCH GOOD HUMOR!

A somewhat alternative way of reading/teaching...

...the Bible, as literature.
I find Dr Creasy likeable and enjoyable to listen to. He often provides interesting factual, historical context which I have not read elsewhere. Definitely worth a listen.

A very good listen that never stood still for too long and yet is filled with relevant and little known information that I could follow. I can't wait to listen to it again.

Excellent Study on Hebrews

Where does Hebrews rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I liked this study so much that as soon as I finished it I listened to it again. We are doing a study group on Hebrews at our church and listening to this also has really helped. Highly recommended.

Incredible lecture series!

This is another great lecture series from Dr. Bill Creasy. He is always incredibly insightful and engaging. He often supplements the material with personal stories which are relevant and interesting. He has taken several trips to Israel and the Middle East where he visits the locations depicted in the Bible and he shares those first hand accounts which enables him to take you back to that point in time that the scripture is talking about.

Excellent Teaching

Dr. Creasy is an unparalleled Teacher. He is engaging and knowledgeable. He explains how we know Paul is not the author of Hebrews and how we know the general timing of the book. He connects Hebrews back to Genesis and forward to Revelation. Highly excellent teaching!

Awesome Teaching as Usual!

I loved this teaching because Hebrews is so packed with information and Dr. Creasy breaks it down verse by verse so it's easily understood.

I would highly recommend any of Bill Creasy's teaching to anyone who desires a thorough understanding of the Bible.
