SHORT AND SWEET CHRISTMAS LOVE STORY!!!!!

A GOOD DOWN TO EARTH CHRISTMAS LOVE STORY. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT AND I HOPE THERE ARE MORE LIKE IT COMING. ALMOST AS GOOD AS A CHRISTMAS HALLMARK. ACCEPTABLE FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES. NARRATOR IS GOOD EASY TO FOLLOW.

Christmas Dreams

I enjoyed listening to this book. The narrator was good. Desiree is a first time homeowner to a real fixer upper Queen Anne house. It is going to need a lot of tender loving care. She thought she would have help with her ex, but sadly that is not happening. Her brother in law decides to hire a carpenter to help Desiree out. Kieran is back in Roses, North Carolina to get this job done. He is not just a carpenter, he loves to cook and wants to reopen his parents pub. When Desiree opens her front door to Kieran, it's instant attraction between them. Can they rebuild her house and a relationship.

New Beginnings with a touch of the past!

This was my first book of Josie Riviera’s home flipping series that I had read/listen to and enjoyed her book very much. I have received the audible complementary to enjoy and this review is my honest thoughts on 1-800-Christmas story. 1-800-Christmas is about Desiree who purchase a vintage Queen Anne style home on the same street as her sister, it is both a dream come true and an overwhelming disaster, but Desiree is determined to bring it back to its former glory and host the Christmas party that year. What Desiree doesn’t know is that this new project will cross paths with someone she’d admired from afar in high school and she determine to keep the relationship strictly professional and nothing else. Keiran O’Malley (Desiree former high school football player crush) is returning to Rose and has master carpentry since he was in high school, who is looking to give back to Rose and a mutual friend of Keiran and Desiree puts them together to help his friends. Keiran can provide deep discounts for his work so he can use it as an example to get his business running in Rose and Desiree needs to stay in a budget to bring her home to it’s former glory in time for Christmas. Can Desiree keep it professional like she planned? Can Keiran make a like in Rose again and build his career or with his past catch up to him?

Can he change her mind?

I enjoyed this story. Desiree has bought a house that needs a lot of work. She thought she would be fixing it up with her boyfriend, but when he saw the house, he left her. Kieren wants to move back to Roses. He needs a change and working on Desiree's house is just right for him. He can live in the attic and work on the house. What neither of them counted on was falling in love. The house is going great and love is in the air until an ex shows up in town and starts demanding that Kieren give her half of everything he has. Desiree thought that all was well, but the way this woman was acting, maybe Kieren didn't really care for her. Kieren knows he can fix this if Desiree just give him a chance. She has had so much loss in her life, she isn't sure she should give him another chance. Can he change her mind?
