2019年のゴールデンウィークを利用して妻の実家がある広島に帰省した時の事だ。実家の都合で夜は広島市内でホテルを予約し、妻と次男の三人で宿泊することになったのだが、問題は妻と一緒のツインの部屋だった。
特別変わった様子でもつくりでもなかったから入室時には何の不安もなかったのだが、ベッドに横になり肘枕で何とはなしにテレビを見始めた時、目の端にナニかが見えた。
ナニかはユニットバスの扉の前に立っている。妻は横のベッドに入り早々に掛け布団を頭からかぶって寝てしまっているし、次男は別部屋だ。
