彼女が高校生の時、通っていた最寄りの高校は埼玉県は与野駅の近くにあった。年頃でダイエットをしようと、下校の時は与野駅から一つ二つ先の駅までわざわざ歩くようにしていた時の事。
その日も友人と二人でおしゃべりをしながら気が付けば二駅分は悠に歩き見慣れない商店街の交差点に差し掛かった。
小さな交差点で信号待ちをしていると、反対側に集まっている人の群れの中にひと際目を引く女性がいる。髪はボサボサ、服もボロボロ、薄汚れて裸足だ。女性というよりもまだ女の子といった感じだが異様な風体だった。
