Elijah Johnson, a young Christian, has been chosen to run a race. Though he may encounter obstacles, his commandment is to keep pressing on until he wins the race--the Christian race.

In this premiere issue, Elijah is challenged by Satan as he learns that his mother has been lying to him about what she does on a day-to-day basis. In the midst of the deceit of his mom, he discovers that his father is also lying and dealing with lust and temptation that draws him away from his family. Seeking refuge at school, he succumbs to more lying as his friends deceive him. Finally at his breaking point, Elijah in taunted and attacked by an unknown demon and the battle begins here!
