The Mana Influx

Bronwic, a recently retired ice hockey enforcer, is trying unsuccessfully to rebuild himself in the remote Milford Sounds of New Zealand when a Mana Influx hits Earth. Danger is everywhere as oversaturated Mana creates wormholes that bring dangerous creatures to Earth. Animals and vegetation are warped and forcibly evolved into a new hostile food chain, and humanity is no longer at the top.

Bronwic must battle on the Bane world, Holgaad, to rejoin humanity on Earth. His only chance is to ride the edge of death and level up in the hope one of his most powerful skills can evolve to save him. A gritty, unexpected series of events brings him enormous challenges and rewards, plus the chance to become the most powerful human alive—if he can remain unbreakable.

Fresh from his final round Koldaavi Combat Championship loss, Bronwic returns to Earth and must try to complete his Class Quest to become the Human Sentinel and defend humanity from the dangers of Monsters and invading Galactics. After a savage period following the Mana Influx, Earth's population is starting to stabilize and fight back led by Bronwic and his team who tackle threats no one else can. Despite rapid progression and powerful new Classes and Skills, the fate of humanity is at risk when Oblivion Shroud sets their sights on Earth.
